White Rock Wedding- Northview Golf and Country Club - Jessica & Shawn 26.04.2010 | Weddings

Jessica and Shawn were married at the Northview Golf and Country Club. It was a beautiful day filled with great memories and good times. We shot the photos of the wedding party in White Rock on the Pier. It was a crazy busy summer day but we managed to get some fun shots of the whole wedding party as well as some great pictures of Jessica and Shawn. Here are some of my favs from the day.

The girls decided to get ready at Jessica and Shawns place, here are some details of the wedding dress.
Jessica looked stunning.

Best man and the maid of honour. Let's just say the girls took this a lot more seriously than the guys.

Lisa & Brian - Newlands Golf and Country Club Wedding. 15.04.2010 | Weddings

Lisa and Brian were married in a beautiful ceremony last summer at Newlands Golf and Country Club. We did most of their wedding party pictures beforehand at The Richmond Oval. There were so many family pictures with all the formal shots as well as pictures from the different tea ceremonies that I decided to show only pictures of the couple just in case I forgot someone important. Here are some of my favourite images from the day.

These portraits of Lisa and Brian were all shot within a few minutes but they sure do capture a lot of different looks.
Some casual and fun, some traditional and some with a more modern fashionable feel.

A fun shot of the wedding party.
Sometimes it is important to take a step back and get the big picture. Love the architectural lines in these images.
Love this shot.
Some details from the reception, the cake looked great.
How cute are these two. Like this won't be in each of their wedding slideshows in 20 years.
Some details shots of the rings.

Love the big cheers group shots.
We'll end with two of the last dance. Lisa and Brian seemed so happy on their wedding day, totally in the moment.
I didn't see an ounce of stress, just two people in love celebrating with their families.
The day couldn't have gone better, a beautiful wedding, great speeches, amazing food and fun with friends and family.

A great shot of the whole wedding party.
Some great portraits of Sana.

My fav shot of the day, one of my favourites of the year actually. The casual pose with the elegance of the dress, and adornments creates a great visual juxtaposition. Love how it looks in classic black and white.

A few more shots of the couple on the Capilano Golf and Country club grounds.

Sana looked stunning, lets show ya two more.

Some photojournalistic shots from during the speeches, lots of laughter and emotion.

Some party pictures. Everyone was having so much fun at this wedding. Lots of dancing and partying.

Let's end with a great photo of Sana and Evan.
I know It seems cliche cause we say it at every wedding but we really had a great time with this amazing couple.

Melody & Ivan - Gastown/Coal Harbour Vancouver Wedding 29.03.2010 | Weddings

Here is the first of our weddings from the latter half of last year since this blog sort of ground to a halt.
Ivan and Melody are part of our favourite family to take pictures of. We originally met them at Ivan's sister Ida's wedding a few years ago. We also have the privilege to shoot their cousin's wedding later this year. What a great group of people who we love to work with. The whole group is so much fun and really easy to take pictures of. They were married in Richmond and decided on Gastown and Coal Harbour for their wedding photos. Here are some of my favs.
Some wedding detail shots.
