We had a great evening shooting Mike And Lindsay at Granville Island, one of out favourite places in Vancouver. The great thing about doing an engagemnt shoot or wedding photography at Granville Island is all the different looks you can get in one place. There is the old beat up walls, the textured buildings, the Vancouver skyline, the waterfront, the Burrard Bridge and Granville Street Bridge as well as lots of green grassy places.
Here are some of our fav images of the day.
Love this image, fav shot of the day.
Can't wait to shoot their wedding in a few weeks.
You've been a great Dad
Who always did lots of cool stuff with us.
And still managed to party.
Have a Happy fathers Day.
We shot this beautiful engagement session a few weeks back in Steveston. We just wandered around the village and found some nice places on Moncton Street and the pier before heading to Garry Point to catch a few shots on the beach. We lucked out with the cherry blossoms, a few days earlier and they were just buds a few days later and they were all gone. As you can see from the photos Katie and Mike were great in front of the camera, totally natural, they looked great. I can't wait to shoot their wedding at The Heritage Hall.
Love the next few shots of them just chillin'.
I love this shot, a classic portrait. And we almost didn't even stop here, I'm glad we did.
Cherry Blossom Bonanza
Another cute image.
It's been a busy few months here at Dan Fontaine Photography. While we have only just started our 2011 wedding season we have been redesigning our very old website. We previewed the new site and it looks great, a few tweaks and it should launch in days. We're are also moving. Two born and raised Richmondites are moving to Ladner. We bought an awesome old heritage house on Arthur Drive and can't wait to make it our home. Lot's more blog love coming soon.
