Love at first sight, working together at the golf course, a strict no dating policy, Jeff decided Jenica was way more important than some job and the rest is history...
So after getting rained out twice we finally had the chance to shoot Jeff and Jenica's engagement session. They are getting married in a country setting so they wanted something a little more urban for the engagement shoot. We had a great time shooting downtown. It was important to Jenica to get some shots on the Burrard Street bridge as it represented a major milestone 10km swim she completed. To check out some more images view the slideshow at the end of the post.
Okay so a helpful friend just let me know that the twitter link on the top of this page connects to some other Dan Fontaine, DOH. I'll get this changed real soon and all will be well. The only problem is once I get that sorted I have to actually start tweeting (twittering). Man this all sounds so ridiculous.
So what is a Lifestyle session ???
Basically it a shoot where we go out and spend a few hours capturing a couple spending time together. Kind of like an engagement session with no engagement. It is a great excuse to get some professional pictures just hanging out and being in love. We love doing these type of sessions because the focus is all on the couple. We can wait for great weather, shoot in a relaxed style, make it formal, keep it casual, whatever the client wants. In general we like to try and portray different moods, some fun, some romantic, some goofy, some images for mom and some for just you. For Louise and Viem we spent an afternoon in Granville Island, did two different looks clothes wise and even managed to get some shots with the pooch looking at the camera. I think the pictures show what a great time we had.
Here are a few shots from Allison and Craigs E-Session. Another great day in Steveston just taking some casual portraits as we found a few cool new locations.
Lens flare love, baby.
A great Steveston background.
Love the sense of fun in this shot.
My favourite image of the day. A simple romantic shot that looked great in black and white.
We'll be shooting Allison and Craigs wedding this weekend and can't wait to get our 2009 wedding season started. Stay tuned for a bunch more recent engagement sessions.
Teresa and Neale were married last summer in Queens park in New West. So why am I posting the images now. When I started redesigning my blog I thought it would be a few weeks or a month at most before I had everything up and running. I didn't want to post some images and them immediately change my blog and have them only up for a few weeks. Well now that we are up and running I'll be posting on a regular basis and putting up some sessions from last year as well.
Dad was just a little proud as you can see from this picture of them walking down the aisle.
Another cute one
We had a great time shooting this wedding and would like to congratualte Teresa and Neale on the new addition to their family.
