Born and raised in Richmond, I grew up in a typical "leave it to beaver" suburban lifestyle. I moved to Ladner a few years ago with my beautiful wife Stephanie when we bought a heritage home on Arthur Drive. We've since seen the arrival of my son Cole in 2012 and my daughter Elle in 2013. We love living here and being part of he South Delta community and enjoying all it has to offer.
But enough about my personal life, let me tell you why I decided to become a Realtor® and how my experience in real estate sets me apart from other agents and could directly benefit you in buying and selling your next home.
I bought my first house in Richmond at 27. I lived in the basement suite and rented out the top to get more income. After renovating the downstairs suite we moved upstairs and completely renovated the upper level of the house as well. My job as a professional photographer kept me busy but gave me the free time to pursue real estate investing. We succesfully bought and sold some condos in Edmonton before buying an old farm house on an acre of land in Washington state. After completely renovating the proerty we sold it for more than double what we paid. This experience renovating the old farm house created a desire to live in a heritage house ourselves. We found the perfect family home on Arthur Drive in Ladner. We moved for the house but soon found we loved the small town community feel of Ladner and Tsawwassen. We held on to our Richmond property as an investment as it was generating significant cash flow. An opprtunity came up to buy and old 10 unit resort/apartment complex on Lake Osooyos with 600 ft of lakefront. We are currently converting the old aprtments into a 50's theme summer cottage rental.
During this time I have been helping friends, family and now clients in their search for the perfect home. We've renovated, fixed up and bought and sold many properties.
When not busy helping clients find the perfect home in Ladner, Tsawwassen and Richmond I work with the John Lovelace Team. Our Team markets rural acreages, farms, ranches, country estates, buinesses and investments outside the lower mainland. I love the challenge this job brings, allowing me to see different parts of our beautiful province and meet amazing people along the way.
Let me use my experince to help you find your next home and make the right move.
I have designed my web site with your interests in mind. Drop me a line, I'd love to hear your thoughts!

First Time Home Buyers
I love working with first time buyers. I believe buying your first property is one of the most important steps in a persons life. It helps set the foundation for a lifetime of wealth accumulation as well as the pride of owning your own home. I'll help walk you through all the information regarding first time home buyers programs, information about property transfer tax the difference between a mortgage broker and using a bank as well as many other issues that concern first time home buyers.
Houses with Suites or Suite potential
A lot of buyers like the idea of owning a home with an income helper. Whether to help with the mortgage or assist a family member. I've personally bought and renovated homes and added income suites and have the hands on knowledge that can help you pick the home that will work for you as well as advise you on secondary suite requirments and practical advise in Richmond and Delta.
Moving from Richmond to South Delta
Selling in Richmond or Vancouver and thinking of moving to Delta or the Fraser Valley? Give me a call. Many people are selling properties that have appreciated in value and are looking to upgrade and simplify their lifestyle by moving to a smaller more affordable community.
Arthur Drive Properties and Heritage Homes
This beautiful historic street in Ladner offers buyers and sellers opportunites that many Realtors® may not be aware of. Let me help guide you through buying or selling your heritage property. As a homeowner of a heritage property on Arthur Drive I know the various zoning exemptions, building restrictions, setbacks, insurance issues and general issues that will arise if you're interseted in Arthur Drive real estate.
As an investor myself I know that buying income producing real estate in a expensive market like Vancouver offers great rewards for those who are willing to make the commitment to building long term weath through a passive income stream. I also have higher return investments in rural BC with much higher cap rates. These properties range from multi-family residential, mixed use, businesses and farms and ranches.
